My work blocked youtube and similar sites and that's about it. As long as it's not porn then they won't really mind. Which is pretty cool, imo.
I'd rate my weekend, 7 out of 10. It was one of those awesomely surreal weekends, y'know the one that left you with a big grin on your face on sunday nite. But the thing about good weekend is, it ended way too fast.

Ya that is what my dad tells me too cosy, we didn't have internet back then you kids are so lucky blah blah blah.
I remember zip and floppies, they at some point were top of the line. We were pretty psyched when we got one. lol
That is pretty lucky etta, lots of works will block all of those sites and what not.
Well work out then a class and a midterm later today. But it's open book and open note. Time to go run 3-4 miles.

zips were after my college days....
we had programs like freestyle and condor....no word, just wordperfect (bleh---the original one was horrid as were many of its upgrades).
my telephone had a rotary dial as well...this big ole black thing, weighed like 10 pounds....
eegads that was like a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away (yes I saw return of the jedi ---first run---when I was heading off for college)....
ok trip down memory lane is over. please.

Just when I was learning to dial with rotary phones they take it away. Those phones were awesome to play with when I was 3.

there WAS no 911 when I was growing up, no one had cell phones, if you had to call home you usually went to a friends house or used a {gasp} PAY phone (there are still a few of them around for the 5 of us who dont own cell phones).....the big ole rotary phone we owned could not be moved from room to room---no phone cords with the jacks like we have them now---they were put in by THE phone company (yeah MA BELL) and if anything went wrong thats who you called to fix them...they were heavy as heck too.
yes we made prank phone calls as kids too...remember once we answered the phone 'abc loony bin, head loony speaking!' abc was a city near us with a mental hospital and the pastor of our church was calling ...yep got in dutch for that one....but it wasnt me who did it as I was the youngest and not allowed much access until most of the older kids were gone (eg we had ONE tv and we watched what my oldest brothers wanted to watch, my sisters and I had no choices, part of why I got hooked on star trek).
ah yes the not so wonderful memories.....moving on.
everyone ready for spring????

I just read the stories about "Black eyed kids" for the first time lastnite, yeah i know it's been around since 1998. It really creeped me out, maybe because it was 1 in the morning and it was a windy and rainy nite. anyway here's the link to it, if you guys interested.

lol No 911... wow not something many of us think of anymore. Guess we just always assumed it was there. oO
I am second oldest in my family BUT the youngest always decided what we watched because our shows were not "appropriate" for her. ><
Never even heard of it and I'm too tired to read it now... Did not sleep well last night, looking forward to a nap this afternoon...
